Are you ready for a FANTASTIC expedition?

Have you ever been on a wild animal safari? Or maybe dreamed about one day taking a trip to Africa in search of lions and elephants? Maybe some day .... but for now we'll enjoy seeing these majestic creatures in the zoos and wildlife parks, which is just as exciting. Today, we celebrate those animal instincts as we Remember The Magic of....

EXPEDITION SAFARI

Expedition Safari is so wonderfully wild and full of animal goodies. Take a look at the lion, giraffe, rhinoceros, hippopotamus and elephant. Look further and you'll find a jeep, camera, bongos, tribal mask, and a mix of flowers, greenery, buttons, ribbons and 15 papers with some great animal skin prints. And lastly, a large cardboard alpha for crafting the perfect title.

To supplement the Expedition Safari kit, Kelly has created a new Add-On with 7 richly patterned papers and amazing frames, leaves and flowers. And check out the set of 6 Clusters which can give your pages a quick jump start.

To find the Expedition Safari kit, Word Art Pack, Add-On and Cluster Pack, you can head on over to Kellybell's Store. Remember, the Kit and Word Art will be 50% off this weekend and the new Add-On and Clusters will be 25% off this weekend. That's a fabulous price so why not grab them all!!

Here's a page I made with these fabulous kits:

Hope that you can find your inner animal and scrap some really wild pages!
Happy scrapping!

Sony Cyber-shot and a vacation

I got lots of things to talk about lately. Yesterday, it was my last day at work for two weeks. Yes, today, my vacation finally started and oh boy, I needed it!
Yesterday evening we did some fast shopping and we bought ourselfs a new camera... the Sony Cyber-shot HX 7V.

I always wanted another small and compact camera together with my DSLR. So now, my boyfriend can take photos too!

Although it's autumn, the weather is gorgeous here at the moment. In summer, we had very bad weather. It was raining all the time, but now the sun is shining... So we decided to enjoy our holiday and go for a walk in a nearby forest. Of course, we tested our new camera. ;-)
Here are some photos.

After our walk we stopped at the local ice cream shop and relaxed with a milk shake... mocca for me and strawberry for my boyfriend. Our first vacation day was a hit!

Autograph book

Hi all!

I'm here to talk about something totally different today!
I was inspired by Jojo and Liesje to make an autograph book for my next Disney trip. Ok, maybe I'm way too old for such things, but I had fun making it.

I worked with So This Is Love, a beautiful kit from Sahlin Studio! Make sure to check her out at The Lilypad.

Ok, now... here are some photo's of my little project. The photos are not that good. But I took them with one hand holding the camera and the other holding the book. The lights were not that good either! But it gives you an idea of how it looks like!

The first page

And this is how the other pages look like, everypage has the name of another character and I added some blank pages as well.

Hope you'll like it!

Give Kids The World

There is nothing more precious than to hear your child's laughter. To watch your son run around and play ball with such a carefree spirit. To play dress up and drink pretend tea with your daughter. Every day, it's a new adventure for them filled with blissful happiness. But sadly, we also know that there are many children who are not so lucky that spend most of their days battling a life-threatening illness and visiting hospitals and treatment centers. One place that offers an escape from all that and offers a magical vacation full of bliss is called Give Kids The World, an organization in Florida that accommodates the wishes of terminally ill children with a fun filled and cost free resort for children and their families to visit. It's a place that brings joy and smiles instead of tears and frowns.

MouseScrappers.com along with 12 special designers are thrilled to bring you a charity collab kit that will benefit Give Kids the World. This fabulous new kit called 'Wishes, Happiness & Hope' was inspired by the color and whimsy of the Give Kids The World resort. It is jam-packed with 72 papers, 3 alphas, over 200 elements and an amazing template! All proceeds will be donated to Give Kids The World. Take a look at this amazing kit!!

WISHES, HAPPINESS & HOPE

Wow, it's just a stunning kit and it's for a very special cause. You'll find it at the MouseScrappers Store. Here's a little bit more about Give Kids The World...

Give Kids The World Village is a 70-acre, nonprofit "storybook" resort located near Central Florida's most beloved attractions where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to week long, cost-free fantasy vacations. Their mission is to fulfill the wishes of children and to never turn a child away. Give Kids The World works very closely with organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation to fulfill these wishes. Make-A-Wish qualifies the families and provides transportation to the Orlando area, and Give Kids The World provides a week of accommodations, food and theme park tickets - all at no cost to the families.

It is almost entirely staffed by friendly, loving volunteers called "Angels" who greet everyone with a warm smile. The facilities around the resort were designed with special needs in mind (e.g. a carousel that accommodates wheel chairs)... and pretty much all 'typical' household rules are thrown out the window. If a child wants ice cream for breakfast, they can have it! Anything to help them forget about doctor visits, hospitals, and needles - if only for a week. Give Kids the World relies on donations - so MouseScrappers is proud to be able to do our part to help. 100% of the revenue generated from the sale of this kit will be donated to Give Kids the World. For more information on this wonderful place, please visit http://www.givekidstheworld.org/. Here's a few pictures of this magical resort.

Ewww, there's a bug!! (+ freebie)

Ewww, there's a bug!!! Seriously, when you see a bug, is your first reaction to save it or squish it?? Or maybe to put on your 3D "Bug Eye" glasses to watch It's Tough To Be A Bug show at Animal Kingdom. Disney-Pixar's "A Bug's Life" is full of adorable little creatures featuring a cute blue ant named Flik and all his insect friends. Today Kelly has a new kit that's also full of little outdoor critters called...

BUGGED OUT

'Bugged Out' has 15 papers with a great mix of solids and patterns including some wonderful leafy designs. And take a peek at the adorable big blue ant Flik. He's accompanied by a snail, caterpillar, bumblebee, black ant, dragonfly, firefly and several ladybugs. Plus several woodsy leaves, grass, tree and mushrooms. The big green alpha will make some fabulous titles. And if you want some premade titles, then check out Kelly's Word Art pack of 7 different sayings. Whether you scrapping your meetings with Flik and Atta or scrapping your child picking up bugs, this kit will be a fabulous addition to your scrapping stash.

Stop by Kellybell's Store to browse all her wonderful creations and to purchase this kit and matching word art. Remember, all new releases are 25% off for the weekend.
